Orange Language Centre is urgently seeking experienced Russian Teachers of English to enhance our large, international team of teachers starting from January 2022. We are a broad and growing English language school and certified Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre. We pride ourselves on our dynamic staff and quality of instruction.
Responsibilities (please, note that all the responsibilities are compulsory)
• Teaching English following the centre curriculum
• Going to business trips to Leningrad region to teach English at kids and teens camp during all school holidays (in summer, autumn, winter and spring)
• Thorough lesson planning and preparation
• Working with adults, teens and kids
• Preparing for Cambridge exams (Pre A1Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers, A2 Key for Schools, B1 Preliminary for Schools, and B2 First for Schools)
• Participation in special events (meetings with parents, open house days, placement testing etc.)
• Ensuring the students' achievement of the level required for passing certification exam
• Participation in seminars and workshops for teachers
• You will get your teaching hours within the limits of the school schedule. The centre is open on Saturdays, which is a working day, on week days work starts at 9 AM or finishes at 10 PM (depending on the school needs)
• Covering for other teachers in emergency situations (with several hours notice)
Requirements
• We are looking for candidates who are professional, well-mannered, optimistic, dynamic, motivated, sociable, willing to develop themselves and have true passion for teaching young learners and teens
Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria:
• Higher linguistic/pedagogic education / MA in English, TEFL, TESOL
• TKT / CELTA / CELTA YL or equivalents would be a significant advantage
• Experience in language educational institutions as a teacher
• Experience in teaching groups of 10-12 students (adults) or individuals
• Experience in teaching groups of 10-12 students (kids and teens) or individuals
